One-Time Emergency Financial Assistance for Survivors
We understand that a single financial hurdle can feel overwhelming — especially when you're working to rebuild your life after domestic violence. The Emergency Grant Program provides small, one-time grants to help survivors meet urgent financial needs that could otherwise jeopardize their safety or stability.
Grant Examples:
- Overdue utility bills
- Lock changes or basic home security needs
- Mental health co-pays
- Urgent care visits or unexpected prescriptions
- Transportation costs to safety or employment

Eligibility:
- You identify as a survivor of domestic violence
- You are 18 or older and located in Wake County, NC or surrounding areas
- You are experiencing a financial emergency related to safety, health, or basic needs
What to Expect:
- The application takes 10–15 minutes to complete
- Our team will review submissions weekly and contact you within 7 days
- Grant awards typically range from $50–$500
